Truck-Unloading Help?

Does anyone know how to find help-for-hire in Rochester? I need to find someone to help me unload a truck on Monday, May 7th. I've got plenty of help loading the truck in Kansas but my plans to bring help from KS to MN fell through. Also, what is a fair wage for this type of work?

thanks.

John

If I were going to be in town that day I'd offer to do it for a beer and maybe some pizza. Or maybe some pop and a sandwich. OK, almost any combination of a liquid and solid would work.

lol. thanks anyway.

if you were in town, I would have added some kimchee and rice to that pizza and beer. . .but only by special request.

I've decided to hold off on the heavy furniture until I can get more family help in June. I’ll just be moving clothes, books, small electronics, etc. next week.

Hey guys-
I am in the same predicament as John as I am moving up June 1 and don't know anyone in town. Anyhow I found a guy on craigslist who has a moving company and charges $20/hour with a two hour minimum (pretty good I thought). He can help with things like unloading trucks. His name is Charles Wilson, email address merchantguyser@yahoo.com, phone 507 319 7822 or 507 252 8396. He got glowing reviews on ebay and uship.com...here are the URLs to his feedback:

Best of luck and I look forward to meeting you all.

Uhaul promotes a service called EMove for unloading help. You might want to check them out. I am in town now, so send a message if you need help still. :)
