Does anyone have any feelings on banks in Rochester? We are closing on the house through Eagle crest and they offer services, anyone know about their checking/saving/online etc?
I am a big fan of online bill pay and use ATMs for most banking, if anyone could comment on either of these, I'd appreciate it.

I just started checking and savings at Mayo Employees Credit Union (2nd St and 23rd Ave SW). They have great customer service; not sure how they are for mortgages. As with all Mayo-run enterprises, it was a pleasant experience. Good luck :)
MECU is fantastic. My husband and I set our accounts up before we moved into town and everything was ready when we got here. Our checks were in within a week, which was shocking to us.
I haven't checked the credit union but wells fargo seems to have good deals. See you soon.
we went with eagle crest (a subdivision of home federal) just because our mortgage is with them. the best thing is - we didn't even have to go to the bank to setup our accounts. and, they are able to close our accounts at home remotely. very nice!
