Buying a house (again)

I recently returned from Rochester, also having purchased a house. We used Terese Dutton (same realtor as Jason) and had a great experience. We second everything Jason said about her. She was great. We also used the same loan company, and were very happy with the experience. See Jason's post for contact info on both.

Hi everyone! My husband and I are going up to Rochester this weekend house hunting (actually condo/townhouse hunting.) We were just curious where everyone is buying? We have looked at a townhouse complex called Boulder Ridge in the NW and were wondering if this is anywhere near anyone else?

We bought in SE Rochester, near Mayo high school.

I looked at the Boulder Ridge places as well. I really liked them--they have a great lay-out. I ended up getting a place in the Riverwood complex (off W River Rd/Zumbro Dr) because it was closer to downtown. It is also technically the NW side. It seems like the NW side has a lot of housing options.

Thanks for the input! Mike and I are in the process (what a process it is!) of getting all the paperwork and stuff done on a townhouse in the NW in a neighborhood called Crimson Ridge (very close and similar to Boulder Ridge.) It's exciting to know we have a place...

We worked with Therese Dutton, and just as the others, we had a great experience. She is diligent, thorough and patient - we couldn't have been happier. Thanks to all who have recommended her, it was a real help.

Eagle Crest for mortgage is a great deal too.
